The WPQG was founded in 1988, by a group of caring quilters wanting to share their love of quilting while reaching out to help meet the needs of others in Pasco County, Florida.

           Our General Meetings are held at 10:00 a.m. on the third Thursday of each month at the Veterans Memorial Park in Hudson, Florida. Our doors open by 9:00 A.M. so please arrive early to allow time for visiting. If your schedule does not permit you to attend our general membership meetings don't let that stop you.  We have Small Groups that gather on different days and in the evenings.  Our programs vary from month to month and we always have Show & Tell so bring your latest project, even if it is not quite completed.  We all love to see what each other is working on. Membership is open to any and all who are interested in the art of quilting.

          We  have  a  monthly  guild  newsletter  to  help  keep members informed of guild activities.  The newsletter is available on line for members convenience.  We also have a Bulletin Board on line along with a Members Only Page to keep everyone up to date on the latest Guild Happenings.

          In addition to extensive Library the W.P.Q.G. offers a wide variety of classes.  Twice a year we host an Education Open House, where you can meet our teachers, see their samples and register for classes.  ALL classes are open to the public and are very reasonably priced. 

          Our biennial Quilt Show  (even numbered years) and QE Retreat (odd numbered years) are anticipated with great enthusiasm by guild members and the public alike. Of course we have Field Trips, Shop Hops and Special Trips scheduled through out the year.

          The Executive Board Meetings are held at 10am, on the first Thursday of the month at the Veteran's Memorial Park in Hudson Florida. All members are welcome to attend. Our Board members and committee chairmen encourage each and every member to participate in all the fun and worthy endeavors throughout the year.
