HEALING HEARTS

As the needs of our guild change so do our programs. With the number of members the WPQG has we now feel the need to modify the way we are handling the Healing Hearts program.

We will continue to make these Beautiful blocks, to help our Sisters and Brothers heal when they need the Love of their friends to help them through the heartache if loosing a loved one or are experiencing health challenges.

The guild will no longer keep blocks “on hand” but will make them when they are needed. This way we can personalize each block for the individual needing our love and support.

In the past there has been much confusion as to size and color so we have put a few guidelines in place. The blocks will be 8-1/2 inches (white or off-white background) with red heart/hearts for members that suffer the loss of a loved one and purple for health concerns.

One further note - we have started a new sunshine program. If you know of any member suffering a loss or a health concern, please make sure that you get that information to Penny Black (727-372-6456) so we can send cards. We depend on you as members to let us know when we need to reach out to a member needing our support.
